KNOX COUNTY SHERIFF’S OFFICE
- Jan. 22 – An officer spoke to the employee of a Columbus Rd. business. The complainant wanted to make out a report about the business receiving a fraudulent check in exchange for a cabinet. The complainant advised the cabinet was listed on Craigslist and that the check they received was a bad check. The complainant said they received a check for $1,750 and the asking price of the cabinet was $500.
- Jan. 22 – The complainant advised that unknown person(s) had attempted to force open her rear door leaving it damaged. Pictures and statements were taken and a report was made for documentation
