MOUNT VERNON — Laurie P. Gallwitz has been named manager of the Blackjack Road Office.
Laurie Gallwitz joined First-Knox in 2015 as the Centerburg Office manager. Monique Milligan’s move to the Main Office manager role last October provided the opportunity for Laurie to manage the Blackjack Road Office.
“The Blackjack Road Office is very different from Centerburg,” Gallwitz said. “It’s interesting to me how each of our offices can vary based on the needs of the local community or neighborhood. I’m excited to learn more about the Industrial Park and address the financial needs of our unique consumer and commercial customer base.”
Laurie is a graduate of East Knox High School and holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She has completed the Ohio Banker’s League Bank Management School and is currently enrolled in the Knox County Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Knox program. Prior to banking Laurie spent 17 years as a real estate appraiser.
“Laurie has been with First-Knox a few years now and has had the opportunity to hone her banking skills,” said Vickie A. Sant, president of First-Knox National Bank. “She did a nice job leading our Centerburg Office and I’m looking forward to all the great things she will do at Blackjack Road.”
