MOUNT VERNON — Judge John Thatcher found two guilty after trials were held at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on Jan. 10, 2018.

Max Bricker, 25, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension/Failure to Reinstate. The court sentenced him to pay a $100 fine.

Jerry Mangus, 49, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct/Persisting. The court sentenced him to pay a $200 fine, serve 30 days in jail with 29 days suspended, and placed him on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete an alcohol and drug assessment within 60 days.

Assistant Director of Law Brittany Whitney represented the State of Ohio and the City of Mount Vernon in these cases.
