MOUNT VERNON — Judge John Thatcher found fifteen people guilty after arraignments and hearings were held at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on Jan. 9, 2018.
Brittny Strunk, 22, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Falsification. The court sentenced her to serve seven days in jail with credit for time served.
Genevieve Daniels, 19, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The court sentenced her to pay a $50 fine.
Ronald Harmon, 30, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Petty Theft. The court sentenced him to serve 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended and placed him on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete a drug and alcohol assessment update and attend a social responsibility class.
Scott Schaade, 21, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Disorderly Conduct. The court sentenced him to pay a $50 fine.
Terra Ellis, 45, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension/License Forfeiture. The court sentenced her to pay a $200 fine.
James Hammond, 29, of Fredericktown, was found guilty of Driving Under Suspension. The court sentenced him to pay a $300 fine.
Savannah Keyes, 19, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Underage Possession/Consumption of Alcohol. The Court sentenced her to serve 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended and placed her on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days.
Brandy Ballengee, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Criminal Trespassing. The court sentenced her to serve three days in jail.
Valine Cline, 29, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of two counts of Petty Theft. The court sentenced her to serve concurrent terms of 180 days in jail with 160 days suspended and placed her on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days and attend a social responsibility class.
Meghan Meadows, 25, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments and Petty Theft. The court sentenced her to serve 90 days in jail with 80 days suspended and placed her on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days for the Possession charge. For the Theft charge, she was sentenced to serve 180 days in jail with 170 days suspended and was placed on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days and attend a social responsibility class.
Cassey Young, 29, of Centerburg, was found guilty of Possession of Drug Abuse Instruments. She will be sentenced on Feb. 20, 2018 after the court conducts a pre-sentence investigation.
Douglas Morris, 56, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Misconduct at an Emergency. The court sentenced him to serve 30 days in jail with 24 days suspended and placed him on two years of probation with the following conditions: complete a drug and alcohol assessment within 60 days and to wear a SCRAM device, if deemed necessary.
Marcus Brandenburg, 43, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Voyeurism, Possessing Criminal Tools, and Public Indecency. He will be sentenced on Feb. 20, 2018 after the court conducts a pre-sentence investigation.
Angela Baldwin, 28, of Mount Vernon, was found guilty of Operating a Vehicle under the Influence of Alcohol. The court sentenced her to pay a $500 fine, serve 180 days in jail with 177 days suspended, and placed her on two years of probation with the following conditions: attend a 72-hour driver intervention program and suspended her operator’s license for one year.
Casey Camillo, 30, of Fredericktown, was found guilt of Driving Under Suspension. The court sentenced her to pay a $250 fine, serve 30 days in jail with 30 days suspended, and placed her on one year of probation.
