MOUNT VERNON — Judge John Thatcher found four guilty after trials and hearings were held at the Mount Vernon Municipal Court on Dec. 6, 2017.
Kevin Anderson, 50, of Brinkhaven, was found guilty of speeding. He was sentenced by the court to pay a $35 fine plus court costs.
Kathleen and Sean Tennant, of Mount Vernon, were both found guilty of failing to pay tax returns. They were each sentenced to pay a $75 fine plus court costs.
Helen Priest, 62, of Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to failing to follow orders of enforcement officials. She was sentenced to serve a one-year probation term and pay court costs.
Assistant Director of Law Brittany Whitney represented the State of Ohio and the City of Mount Vernon in these cases.
