Crash Reports – Nov. 10

Jo Sharon Belcher was traveling north on Mansfield Avenue. Melissa M. Murphy was stopped westbound on Fairgrounds Road. Belcher proceeded to turn eastbound onto Fairgrounds Road, crossing the center line causing her vehicle to sideswipe Murphy in the left front corner as she proceeded with the turn. Belcher was cited for a turning at an intersection violation.
Jaclytne E. Catanzaro was traveling westbound on Coshocton Road and struck the rear of Emily L. Morris who was stopped for traffic on Coshocton Road facing westbound. Catnazaro was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
Sarah M. Einselen was parked on West Vine Street facing eastbound. Charles J. Blakely was facing westbound on West Vine Street and was backing into a parking space. Einselen did a U-turn which took the vehicle into the path of Blakely and was struck by Blakely.
Both vehicles were traveling southbound on Newark Road. Rebecca M. Durbin was behind David L. Thomas and rear-ended Thomas.

Crash reports – Nov. 11

Tyler D. Holmes was traveling northbound on South Main Street near Melick St. He exited the roadway on the west side of South Main Street and struck a telephone pole. Holmes continued northbound, struck three mailboxes, struck a second telephone pole and came to rest next to the second telephone pole. He was cited for failure to control/weaving.

Incident Reports

Nov. 10

At approximately 3:14 a.m., a vehicle was stopped on Coshocton Avenue for display of registration.
Units were dispatched to West Lamartine Street on a report of trespassing. When officers arrived on the scene, they located the suspects and cited them.
Units were dispatched to East Burgess Street on a report of a fight. When the officers arrived they located the suspects and they were cited for possession of hypodermic needles. Police also seized a pouch with miscellaneous drug paraphernalia, a glass pipe, an unknown capsule, a black case with misc.drug paraphernalia, a green checkbook, and an ID card.
At approximately 12:25 p.m. an officer responded to a Martinsburg Rd. address in reference to a report of vandalism. When the officer arrived he spoke to the complainant who stated she wanted a witness to the vandalism that occurred on her property. A written statement was taken and a report made. Photographs were taken of the interior. There is nothing further to report.
Two males came to the MVPD to report the theft of medications. A suspect was identified and statements were taken from both males. The investigation is pending and this report will be supplemented with any new information.

Nov. 11

At approximately 4:25 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a Coshocton Avenue business on a report of found drugs. The officer seized a small bag with a crystal-like substance as found property an placed it in evidence to be destroyed at a later time. There is no suspect at this time.

Nov. 12

On Sunday, a male who lives on South Catherine Street reported the theft of ZA gas operated machine from his property. The male reported it had been chained up to trees in the backyard. He believes the theft happened over the last few days. There is no suspect at this time.
An officer was dispatched to a Coshocton Avenue business on a report of shoplifting. When the officer arrived he spoke with the complainant who advised a female stole merchandise from the store. The officer identified the suspect and found her in possession of merchandise from the store. The suspect was cited for shoplifting.

Nov. 9 – Jeffrey Petrey, 44, Newark, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
Nov. 10 – ThomasFuller, 29, East Chestnut Street was arrested on an outstanding warrant
Nov. 10 – Kristina Carwell, 20, Fulton, was charged with possession of marijuana drug paraphernalia.
Nov. 10 – Donald Williams, 37, Coshocton, was cited for driving under an FRA suspension.
Nov. 10 – Lucas Stagg, 35, East Ohio Avenue, was arrested for criminal trespass and arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Nov. 10 – Steven Smith, 37, Howard, arrested for criminal trespass.
Nov. 10 – Lisa Rohal, 28, Howard, was arrested for criminal trespass.
Nov. 10 – Scott Llewellyn, 26, Upper Gilchrist Road, was arrested for hypodermic possession and display.
Nov. 10 – Jo Sharon Belcher, 69, New Gambier Road, was cited for improper turning at an intersection.
Nov. 10 – Steven Miller, 30, East Sugar Street, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.
Nov. 10 – Jaclyn Catnazaro, Coshocton, was charged with failure to maintain assured clear distance.

Nov. 12 – Richard Wiles, 23, Columbus, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation and for expired or unlawful license plates.
