11/6/17 – At approximately 8:21 A.M. an officer responded to a business on Columbus Road on a fraud complaint. A counterfeit $100 bill was taken as evidence and secured at the MVPD. The investigation is active and will be updated as it progresses.
11/6/17 – An officer was dispatched to the Mount Vernon Police Department on a report of found property. When the officer arrived he received what appeared to be drug paraphernalia, a smoking pipe. The item was logged in as found property and a report taken, There is nothing further to report.
11/6/17 – An officer met with the victim at an N. Mulberry St. residence. The victim stated that a package delivered to her front porch had been taken. She said she had ordered three new cell phones for her daughters as gifts. They were described as iPhone7 models, rose gold in color. She said the phones were delivered by UPS on 11/3/17 at 6:30 P.M. She said the driver reported he had left the package behind the pumpkins on the front porch. The phones were reported to be worth $398 apiece. There are no suspects at this time.
11/5/17 – Savannah Keyes, 18, N. McKenzie St. charged with minor possession, consumption.
11/5/17- Alivia Jones, 18, Brinkhaven, charged with open container and possession of Marijuana drug paraphernalia.
11/5/17 – Loria Hubbard, 33, N. Sandusky St. was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.
11/6/17 – Tammy Green, Fredericktown, was arrested on a warrant for probation violation.
11/6/17 – Judith Sarnovsky, 73, Elyria, was cited for failure to control.
