MVPD

/20/17 – An officer was dispatched to a Coshocton Ave. business on a report of an individual trespassing on the business’ property. Upon arrival, the officer was informed by the store’s Loss Prevention employee that he had observed an individual identified as Robert Fulton who was not allowed in the store. The officer made contact with Fulton who admitted he knew he was trespassing. Fulton was taken into custody and charged with criminal trespass. Fulton was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

10/20/17 – An officer spoke with the complainant by telephone in reference to an act of vandalism that occurred at a property she owns in Mount Vernon. The complainant had been contacted by her Realtor that the home’s patio door was shattered The complainant believes the incident had occurred sometime overnight based on the Realtor’s scheduled showings of the home. The complainant said there were no content or furnishings in the unoccupied house and she did not believe entry was made. She did ask for extra patrol in the area. There are no suspects at this time. Any new information will be supplemented to this report.

10/21/17 – Four officers reported to a Follin Ave. apartment on a report of a disturbance. Based on the officers’ investigations at the scene, Timothy R. Roberts was arrested and charged with domestic violence. Roberts was transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

10/21/17 – At approximately ‪10:39 A.M. an officer was on patrol in the area of N. Sandusky St. when he noticed a vehicle parked on the roadway with a rear window broken out. The officer contacted the registered owner of the vehicle to notify him of the damage. The owner stated he was unaware of the incident. The officer observed that an object had been thrown at a rear side window and exited through the window on the other side. A large rock with paint transfer from the vehicle was found near the car. No suspects have been identified. Photographs of the damage were taken.

10/21/17 – The complainant came to the MVPD to report a male subject had removed a small wooden bench from her front porch. The suspect was identified and the bench returned to the complainant. There is nothing further to report.

10.21.17 – An officer responded to a Columbus Road address in reference to a domestic violence complaint. When the officer arrived he spoke with a female juvenile who was involved in the incident. She said she and her mother were involved in an altercation. The officer spoke to the mother who said she could not control her daughter and wanted her gone. This report will be forwarded to the Juvenile Prosecutor and Children Services. There is nothing further to report at this time.

10/21/17 – n officer spoke to the complainant at the MVPD in reference to finding marijuana. The complainant stated he found a small plastic container with marijuana in the parking lot of the Grand Hotel. The officer took possession of the item and secured them into evidence to be destroyed.

10/21/17 – Two officers responded to Follin Ave. apartment in reference to a burglary. The victim stated that ‪between 6:00 P.M. and 8:30 A.M. an unknown person entered her residence through the unlocked front door and stole a handbag. The bag is pink with white stripes and is approximately 16×16 inches.

9/19/17 – Sarah Christine, ‪31, South St. was arrested and charged with theft.

10/10/17 – Jay Beaver, ‪22, Old Delaware Rd. was arrested and charged with theft.

10/11/17 – Michael Durst, 23, Gambier, was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead and driving under suspension/revocation.

10/16/17 – Hunter Gibson, ‪26, Coshocton Ave. was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

10/19/17 – Clayton Smith, ‪39, Plaza Dr. was charged with theft.

10/20/17 – Gage Davidson, 19, Bellville, was arrested and charged with assault.

10/20/17 – Kristy Roesing, ‪27, Oakway Dr. was arrested and charged with possessing drug abuse instruments.

10/20/17 – Stephen Deshong, ‪31, S. McKenzie St. was arrested and charged with drug paraphernalia offenses and also cited for driving under suspension/revocation.

10/20/17 – Brandon King, 26, Howard, was arrested on an outstanding warrant.

10/20/17 – Roxy Trego, 24, Marion, was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.

10/20/17 – Adrianna Anderson, ‪17, Melick St. was cited for failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead.

10/21/17 – Troy Martin, ‪37, Chester St. was cited for driving under suspension/revocation.
