MOUNT VERNON – MVHS Senior soccer player Mario Alvarez has been named Offensive Player of the Year by the Ohio Cardinal Conference. Senior Chad Finnel and Junior Solvi Gunderson were named to 1st team. Seniors Gannon Reddy and Cole Rapp were named to 2nd team. Two Yellow Jackets were recognized on the Honorable Mention list, Senior Nick Otto and Sophomore Spencer Stanley. The Jackets were 4-1-1 on the season this year.

In girls volleyball Senior Addy Mullins made 1st team while Senior Molly Burnside and Junior Lily Burnside made 2nd team. Honorable Mention honors went to Freshman Maddy Burdette and Junior Tonya Merillat. MVHS volleyball was 5-7 on the season.

In girls soccer Sophomore Kim Trapp was named to 1st team. Junior Aleah Wood was named to 2nd team. Junior Emily Trapp and Sophomore Emily DePolo earned Honorable Mention honors. MVHS Girls Soccer was 1-5 for the season.
