MOUNT VERNON – The city has announced closure of E. Chestnut Street between Main and Gay Streets beginning Monday, October 23rd at 7 a.m. until Wednesday, October 25 at 9 p.m. for gas line work. Columbia Gas will be doing the work.
Emergency traffic will not be able to pass through.
