MOUNT VERNON – Starting Monday, expanded hours at Knox Community Hospital’s Center for Rehabilitation & Wellness will mean you can exercise anytime between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. To celebrate the expansion of services and the facility KCH held an open house at the Yauger Road location Thursday evening. Wellness Coordinator Jason Mentzer tells KnoxPages.com they have added footage to the facility, replaced strength training equipment with new Cybex equipment, added a new cardio room, and added a multipurpose room for classes.

Classes at the Center include Aqua Health, Aqua Fit, Tai Chi for Health, Silver Sneakers Classic, Boot Camp, Yoga Stretch and Fitness to Golf. Members can also receive fitness assessments and personal training. 

KCH also operates two satellite wellness centers in Centerburg and Fredericktown. They both have split hours. For more information about membership contact Mentzer at 740-393-9875.
