Arrests and Charges:
Cyle Cunningham, 25, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 10:40 p.m. on July 26, 2016 for a disturbance.
Tina Dalton, 45, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 6:45 p.m. last Saturday (8/6/2016) for criminal mischief.
A 16-year-old minor of Mount Vernon was arrested at 1:50 a.m. on Friday for a curfew violation.
Timothy Llewellyn, 21, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 6:20 a.m. on Friday for shoplifting.
Brittany Erow, 20, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 6:20 a.m. on Friday for possession of drug paraphernalia. (previously KP erroneously reported Erow was also charged with shoplifting. Police report said the event was shoplifting but Erow was not charged with shoplifting. KP apologizes for the error).
Kain Dixon, 18, of Croton was arrested at 6:20 a.m. on Friday for shoplifting.
Dezerae Steigerwald, 20, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 5:25 p.m. on Friday for a house arrest violation.

Dawn Cooper, 39, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 8:20 p.m. on Friday for persisting disorderly conduct.
Shad Lynds, 44, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 11:35 a.m. on Saturday for domestic violence and for possession of weapons while under disability.
Jacquelyn Price, 30, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 11:35 a.m. on Saturday for domestic violence.
Alan Christian, 23, of St. Louisville, was arrested at 12:25 p.m. on Saturday for aggravated menacing and for criminal damaging of property.
Haylee Butcher, 17, of Mount Vernon was cited at 2:15 a.m. on Sunday for a curfew violation and arrested.
Sheldon Hayes, 17, of Mount Vernon was cited at 2:15 a.m. on Sunday for a curfew violation and arrested.
Dakota Tomlin, 19, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 5:40 a.m. on Sunday for drug abuse and possession of marihuana drug paraphernalia.

Traffic Citations:
Mariah McKenzie, 25, of Mount Vernon was cited at 3:45 p.m. on Tuesday for running a red-light.
James Battista, 58, of Mount Vernon was cited at 2:45 a.m. on Friday for failing to use required headlights.
Tylena Lewis, 23, of Mount Vernon was cited at 9:30 a.m. on Friday for driving under a suspended license.
Christopher McKee, 33, of Zanesville was cited at 2:15 a.m. on Saturday for driving under a suspended license.
Anthony Serio, 17, of Mount Vernon was cited at 2:15 a.m. on Sunday for a curfew violation.

Accidents:
At 3:05 p.m. on Friday, Katie M. Gentry, 37, of Howard began backing her 2016 Ford Explorer out of a parking space in the lot at the Hiawatha Water Park. At the same time, Amanda J. Love, 40, of Columbus began backing her 2011 Mercedes out of a parking space directly opposite. The two collided.
At 3:40 p.m. on Saturday, Jessica L. Hansford, 34, of Mount Vernon was stopped in her 1995 Pontiac Grand Am facing westbound at the stop-sign on Yellow Jacket Drive. Clay W. Gallagher, 43, of Mount Vernon approached from behind in his 2007 Honda Accord and rear-ended him. There was minor damage to both vehicles.

Incidents:
At 11:45 a.m. on Friday, a 2001 Ford F-15 pickup was towed from where it was parked on the roadway on Highland Drive.
At 6:20 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a report of a domestic disturbance at a residence on the 600-block of W. Gambier Street. Both parties involved agreed to separate for the night and the male suspect was transported to a family member’s residence.
At 7:35 p.m. on Friday, an officer on patrol in the area of Follin Avenue heard a male, later identified as Jerrad Ray, yell in an aggressive manner. The officer followed the voice to an apartment and, through a partly open window, heard a female, later identified as Brandy Keen, crying and pleading with Ray not to break her phone. Ray continued to curse and scream at her until he observed the officer, who instructed him to open the door. He did so and appeared agitated and covered in sweat. He was handcuffed and placed in the police cruiser while Keen completed a written statement. Ray was issued a summons for disorderly conduct.
At 8:30 p.m. on Friday, a female suspect was detained for disorderly conduct on the Public Square during the Dan Emmett festival.
At 4:30 a.m. on Saturday, a cab-driver reported the theft of $6.00 in cash. A suspect was identified.
At 6:20 a.m. on Saturday, a victim reported the theft of car, house, garage, and business keys from a vehicle on the 200-block of W. Walnut Street. A suspect was identified.
At 7:50 a.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a reported criminal mischief incident on the 500-block of E. High Street. Suspects were identified.
At 11:35 a.m. on Saturday, Jacquelyn Price and Shad Lynds were arrested for a domestic violence incident on the 00-block of Madison Street. A handgun, a large plastic baggie containing numerous small baggies, digital scales, and a baggie containing an unknown narcotic were collected as evidence.
At 8:05 p.m. on Saturday, a suspicious male was reported on the 100-block of W. Sugar Street. The complainant stated that her soon-to-be ex-husband was walking around her residence despite being told not to be on the property. The suspect left when officers arrived and the complainant was advised to call back if he returned. The report was forwarded to the City Prosecutor for review.
