MOUNT VERNON – Sarah Goslee Reed was honored with the 2016 Emmett Award Saturday night at the Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival. It’s recognition for being dedicated and involved with the performing arts in the community and county.
Among her many arts activities, Reed is a member of the local band Owl Creek, a member of the Knox County Symphony, and has performed at the Quarry Chapel concert series. She also organizes the Summer Music Garden series each summer held at the Knox County Career Center Children’s Garden.
