GAMBIER – The summer of change continues in the village’s downtown as demolition crews took down the former People’s Bank building earlier this week at the corner of Chase Avenue and Brooklyn Street. Most recently the structure has been used as a black box theater. Plans are for the site to eventually house the Village Market. The demolition is all part of the Kenyon Campus Master Plan which calls for revitalization of the downtowh area.
