MOUNT VERNON – The American Red Cross is partnering with the Ohio Eastern Star and Cedar Fair to provide a free Cedar Point ticket to our scheduled presenting donors, while supplies last, at our blood drive on Monday, August 1, from 1pm-7pm. This blood drive will be held at the Glenn A Gallagher Centre, which is located at 1451 Gambier Road.
The free Cedar Point tickets are limited so donors are encouraged to make an appointment prior to the drive. Walk-ins will still be welcome and will be worked in as time allows.
In a news release the agency said, “The season of giving is now as the summer months have depleted our supplies. The American Red Cross has issued an EMERGENCY NEED appeal for all blood types. You never know when a friend, neighbor, or loved one may be in need, so please call 1-800 RED CROSS or visit redcrossblood.org to get on schedule today. Giving never felt so good.”
