Incidents:
At 11:20 a.m. on Monday, a victim reported that someone—at some point over the weekend—stolen a Sears push-mower from her residence on the 00-block of Parrot Street.
At 8:30 a.m. on Monday, an employee of Alison’s Finer Diner on Upper Gilchrist Road reported that she had been receiving harassing phone calls at that establishment from a male suspect for the past two weeks. The caller also became belligerent with a manager. Security measures have been addressed by management and the MVPD will remain involved in the situation. An officer advised the employee further.
At 8:50 p.m. on Monday, a woman reported finding miscellaneous papers and a pill bottle containing 43 Sertraline Hydrochloride pills at her residence on the 00-block of Third Avenue. An officer collected the items and placed them into evidence as found property.
At 10:35 p.m. on Monday, an officer collected a “small baggie of an unknown substance” found in the women’s restroom at Kroger. It was placed into evidence as found property.
Traffic Citations:
Brandon Alberts, 21, of Howard was cited at 3:50 p.m. Sunday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.
Reva Crim, 27, of Mount Vernon was cited at 2:20 a.m. on Monday for driving under a suspended license.
Brandon Wise, 28, of Crestline was cited at 5:05 a.m. on Monday for reckless operation on a public street.
Michael Haxton, 46, of Fredericktown was cited at 9:25 a.m. on Monday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead and for operating a vehicle with an expired plate/validation sticker.
Terry Miller, 59, of Howard was cited at 10:35 a.m. on Monday for speeding.
Rachel Beck, 30, of Mount Vernon was cited at 10:55 a.m. on Monday for speeding.
Jennifer King, 36, of Mount Vernon was cited at 8:00 p.m. on Monday for driving under a suspended license.
Accidents
At 5:05 on Monday, Brandon T. Wise, 28, of Crestline was traveling northbound on S. Main Street in his 1999 Cadillac. When he attempted to turn left onto W. Gambier Street, he struck Tonya Booth, 20, of Mount Vernon, a pedestrian in the crosswalk. Wise was cited for the incident. Booth refused medical treatment.
