UTICA – The Newark Advocate is reporting that two 12 year old boys, both sixth graders at Utica Elementary School have been charged with reportedly having a plot to hold their classmates and teachers hostage.
Documents from Licking County Juvenile Court show the two 12-year-old boys are accused of having a plan to hold teachers and students hostage, hold a knife to the throat of the principal and “cut the throats of several faculty members.”
Police were informed of the threat by the elementary school principal around 4:30 p.m. Friday, Utica Police Chief Clifford Bigler said.
Chief Bigler posted on Facebook that he would have a news release this afternoon with more information.
