Arrests and Charges:

Warren Taylor, 37, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 2:30 a.m. on Saturday for assault.

Daniel Dilger, 27, of Mount Vernon was charged at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday with disorderly conduct.

Amanda Schulze, 36, of Mount Vernon was also charged at 4:45 p.m. on Saturday with disorderly conduct.

Roland Girdharry, 36, of Alliance was arrested at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday for criminal trespassing and for sexual imposition.

Traffic Citations:

Vicki Clark, 63, of Mount Vernon was cited at 3:50 p.m. on Friday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.

Accidents:

At 12:25 p.m. on Friday, Regan Alexis Yontz, 22, of Newark was traveling northbound on Newark Road in her 2015 Kia. Jay Dalton Beaver, 20, of Mount Vernon was immediately behind her in his 2001 Kia Spirit. At the Mount Vernon Avenue intersection, both drivers stopped for the stop-light. When the light changed to green, however, Beaver rear-ended Yontz’s vehicle. An officer noted no visible damage.

At 3:50 p.m. on Friday, Douglas Hocker, 45, of Mount Vernon was stopped facing northbound on Martinsburg Road in his 2004 Dodge Stratus waiting to yield onto Newark Road. Vicki Clark, 63, of Mount Vernon approached from behind in her 2011 Nissan Rogue and rear-ended him. Clark was cited for the incident.

At 8:40 a.m. on Friday, Kylie Elizabeth McLaughlin, 19, of Howard was sitting stationary at a red-light on E. Vine Street in her 2010 Toyota. When the light changed, she entered the intersection and began turning southbound onto S. Main Street. An unknown driver was heading northbound on S. Main Street, ran the red-light, struck McLaughlin’s vehicle, and then fled the scene.

At 1:05 p.m. on Saturday, Lisa Richert, 48, of Mount Vernon backed her 2007 Trailblazer out of a parking space in a parking lot on Coshocton Avenue. When she did so, she struck a 2009 Subaru driven by Dora Caudill, 70, of Marengo.

At 5:45 p.m. on Saturday, Patricia Jackson, 73, of Mount Vernon backed his 1998 Honda Accord out of a parking space in the KFC parking lot on W. High Street. James Brooks, 53, of Cincinnati was entering the lot at the same time in his 2000 Honda Odyssey. Jackson backed up and struck his vehicle.

Incidents:

At 12:15 a.m. on Friday, officers responded to a reported alarm drop on the 000-block of Newark Road.

At 9:50 a.m. on Friday, an unknown person turned in an Oklahoma license plate found on the 300-block of Newark Road. Contact information on its owner was unavailable so the plate was placed into evidence to be destroyed.

At 8:30 a.m. on Friday, a victim reported the theft of medication from an apartment on the 000-block of Sychar Road. Seventy-five Oxycodone tablets and 75 Clonazepan tablets were taken.

At 11:30 a.m. on Friday, a resident of the 200-block of Shirley Avenue reported ongoing issues with a neighbor.

At 4:20 p.m. on Friday, a juvenile reported that she had been assaulted by another student after school. A suspect was identified.

At 5:05 p.m. on Friday, a parent reported an unruly juvenile to the police. A suspect was identified and several items—including a black box with a skull on top, a metal grinder, and marijuana—were collected as evidence.

At 8:30 p.m. on Friday, a mother reported finding drug paraphernalia in a bookbag belonging to her son. A suspect was identified and several items—including possible drugs and drug paraphernalia—were collected as evidence.

At 11:55 p.m. on Friday, a victim reported the theft of an unknown number of Kolonopin tablets from her residence on the 200-block of Shirley Avenue.

At 8:20 a.m. on Saturday, a vandalism was reported at the Bullocks Drive-Thru on W. High Street. The fence and rear garage door had been damaged.

At 12:35 p.m. on Saturday, an officer responded to a report of a suspicious person at the Rite-Aid. A suspect was identified and a fictitious New York identification card was collected as evidence.

At 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, officers responded to a disturbance at a residence on the 800-block of N. Mulberry Street. Suspects were identified.

At 9:40 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15th, a victim reported the theft of her driver’s license and birth certificates from her apartment on Ash Street.

At 5:10 p.m. on Sunday, a victim reported the theft of several items—including a kayak, three life-vests, a helmet, and a paddle—from his residence on the 000-block of Martinsburg Road. A suspect was identified.

At 7:30 p.m. on Sunday, a victim reported that she was being harassed by phone. A suspect was identified.
