MOUNT VERNON – The City Street Department has announced the street sweeping schedule for three days next week. Tuesday, April 28th, crews will sweep East Vine Street from Gay Street to Edgewood Road and East Gambier Street from Gay Street to the east city limits. On Thursday, April 30th, Ohio Avenue and Sandusky Street will be swept. Friday, May 1st, the downtown area will be swept in the early morning.
The Street Department is asking cooperation from residents in having their automobiles moved on the day their street is scheduled for sweeping.
