Incidents:
At 2:15 a.m. on Tuesday, an officer was to a 911 call on Cottage Street. Twenty-six yellow oval pills were collected as evidence.
At 4:30 a.m. on Tuesday, an officer responded to a report of an unruly patient at Knox Community Hospital’s Emergency Room. A suspect was identified and arrested.
At 7:20 a.m. on Tuesday, an officer responded to a reported theft at the Duke and Duchess Shoppe. Suspects were identified and charged. Two hypodermic needles, a pill bottle containing 30 Gabapentin tablets and one Baclofen tablet, screens, a pack of bubble gum, and $8.29 worth of snack food items were collected as evidence.
At 10:10 a.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a domestic violence incident at a residence on the 200-block of Chester Street. A suspect was identified and arrested and an apparent minor injury was documented.
At 11:55 a.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported that her husband had violated a protection order. She informed an officer that she had sent him a message on Sunday via Facebook telling him to have no further contact with her. He responded by sending her a picture of a shirt that said “I’ve got an amazing smoking hot wife”. She said also that he had contacted her son via Facebook telling him to call him. He was in school at the time of the report, so the officer could not confirm the date and time of the Facebook message. The officer advised the victim to email him a picture of both of the Facebook messages. She told him that her husband had also set up a Facebook account on Monday and sent her a friend request. At the time of the report, the officer had yet to receive an email from the victim.
At 1:55 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to an activated hold-up alarm at Papa John’s Pizza on Coshocton Avenue. They found everything in order and an employee told them he had accidentally bumped the alarm.
At 1:40 p.m. on Tuesday, probation officers from Delaware County Adult Court Services turned over property recovered while conducting a pat down of a probationer. These included two baggies containing a substance and a hypodermic needle. A suspect was identified.
At 8:15 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported that his garage and yard had been vandalized on Third Avenue.
At 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a mother reported that her son had been threatened by other juveniles at school.
Arrests and Charges:
Christine Stringfellow, 50, of Martinsburg was arrested at 2:55 a.m. on Tuesday for misconduct at an emergency.
Emily Bricker, 26, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday for possession and display of a hypodermic needle.
Tiffany Fulton, 32, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 7:10 a.m. on Tuesday for theft and for obstructing official business. She was cited also for driving under a suspended license.
John Palmer, 24, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday for domestic violence.
David Dehmann, 33, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday for persisting disorderly conduct.
Traffic Citations:
David Vandebrake, 26, of Mount Vernon was cited at 9:20 p.m. on Tuesday for driving under a suspended license and for illegal lights.
