Arrests and Charges:
Douglas Tucker, 45, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday for domestic violence.
At 10:20 a.m. on Wednesday, Joseph L. Sanders, 33, of Mansfield was traveling southbound on S. Main in his 2004 Chevy Astro van. At the Columbus Road intersection, he failed to stop at the traffic signal and struck a 2013 Cadillac XTS, driven by Duane E. Johnson, 82, of Mount Vernon, which had entered the intersection traveling eastbound on Columbus Road. Both vehicles were towed from the scene. Accidents:

At 12:35 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to an activated alarm on the 900-block of S. Main Street.
At 4:25 p.m. on Wednesday, an officer responded to a reported shoplifting incident at Kroger. A suspect was identified.
At 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, the MVPD was contacted regarding a disturbance at Green Valley Storage on Newark Road. A suspect was identified and arrested. A 4” Browning folding knife was collected as evidence.
