MOUNT VERNON – Knox Community Hospital is pleased to announce the recent addition of Elizabeth Klenk, MD to the Department of Primary Care—Internal Medicine. Dr. Klenk joins internist Frederick Carroll, MD at 1661 Venture Drive.
A native of Toledo, Ohio, Dr. Klenk received her medical degree from the University of Cincinnati Medical School and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at the Indiana University Medical Center. In addition, she is fellowship trained in Medical Oncology at The Cleveland Clinic.
When asked what she most liked about being a physician, Dr. Klenk responded, “The most fulfilling part of being a doctor is educating people to make better choices for their health, treating their medical conditions and seeing how this improves their lives.”
Dr. Klenk and her family reside in Bellville where they raise beef cattle and sheep. Her goal is to provide excellent care to the members of the community and treat patients as she would like her family to be treated.
