Charges:

Scott Huff, 31, of Pataskala was charged at 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday for drug abuse and possession of marihuana drug paraphernalia.

 

Traffic Violations:

Charles Wolfe, 37, of Mount Vernon was cited at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday for running a stop-sign.

Patrick Chavez, 27, of Mount Vernon was cited at 8:35 p.m. on Wednesday for driving under a suspended license.

 

Accidents:

At 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Charles Wolfe, Jr., 37, of Mount Vernon was heading southbound on S. Park Street in his Dodge 1500 pick-up.  Maria Nussbaum, 36, of Mount Vernon was heading eastbound on E. Vine Street in her Chevy Trailbazer.  At the intersection of those streets, Wolfe failed to stop and Nussbaum—who had the right-of-way—struck his vehicle in the side.

At 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Amber Dawn Hatala, 39, of Mount Vernon was backing her 1999 Buick Century out of a parking space at East End Laundry.   When she did so, he struck a parked 2007 Pontiac Grand Am Driven by Ami D. Randall, 40, of Mount Vernon.  Randall was parked improperly, straddling two adjacent spaces, which may or may not have contributed to the incident.

 

Incidents:

At 2:00 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a disturbance at a residence on the 100-block of W. Pleasant Street.  Suspects were identified.

At 11:05 a.m. on Wednesday, a resident reported a trespasser at her residence on the 000-block of E. Chestnut Street.  A suspect was identified.

At 11:45 a.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a drug and disturbance complaint at a residence on the 600-block of N. Sandusky Street.  A suspect was identified and two citations were issued.    A glass pipe (with residue), a pill container containing marijuana, a zip-lock baggie with marijuana, a blue straw (with residue), and a white pill container (containing a partial pill) were collected as evidence.
