The Knox County Prosecutor’s office reported on their Facebook page that the Knox County Dog Warden, with the assistance of the Prosecutor’s Office, today obtained a court order to seize two neglected dogs from a home in Danville. According to Assistant Dog Warden Jim St. Clair, both dogs were chained outside without food or water and were severely emaciated. St. Clair checked on the animal report from Danville Police and found no one at the residence. Prosecutor Chip McConville noted that this is the proper legal procedure to get custody of neglected animals.
