MOUNT VERNON – After an extended weekend filled with musical entertainment, arts and handcrafts show, car & motorcycle shows, great food, and much more, the 2014 Dan Emmett Music & Arts Festival concluded Sunday August 10th.

While the Festival Board and Operations Committee perceived the 2014 Festival as a great success, they would like to hear your thoughts, suggestions, and ideas for upcoming festivals of the future. A festival visitor survey has been constructed and is ready for the Mount Vernon / Knox County community and beyond, to respond to the best aspects of the Festival, as well as those that need improvement.

One can find the survey online by visiting the Festival’s website www.DanEmmettFestival.org.  Only one online survey can be taken per computer.  In addition, blue paper copies of the survey can be picked up between 8 am and 5 pm M-F at the Festival offices at 105 South Main Street in downtown Mount Vernon, or next door at TheHarvest local foods store during their normal business hours.

The blue paper surveys are also available at the Mount Vernon News, The Alcove Restaurant, and several other downtown locations.  Separate specific surveys for festival vendors and participants, and well as area businesses area also being circulated.

In order to be included in the 2014 Festival Report, paper copies must be returned (or postmarked) to the Festival office by 5 pm or online no later than midnight Friday, September 5th, 2014

The 2014 Festival was made possible through the contributions of Ariel, First-Knox National Bank, Time Warner Cable, WMVO, Eagle 93, WNZR, I-Conn Video Productions, Mount Vernon News, and the Knox County Convention & Visitors Bureau.  For information, call (740) 392-FEST (3378) or email at director@DanEmmettFestival.org.
