At 9:50 a.m. on Sunday, a victim reported that someone had stolen the stereo from his unlocked Honda while it was parked overnight on the 100-block of N. Market Street in Martinsburg.
At 11:45 p.m. on Sunday, deputies investigated a burglary at Hometown Market in Centerburg. A video of the incident showed an unknown male suspect dressed in dark clothing and a white cloth covering his face. The suspect used a rock to break out the window on the front door and entered the building carrying a trash can. He filled the trash can with cartons of cigarettes and ran out. Photographs were taken of the scene and the store manager was asked to provide a copy of the security tape as evidence.
At 1:20 p.m. on Saturday, a victim reported that someone had stolen his bicycle from outside his residence on the 100-block of Woodside Drive in Gambier. He described the bicycle as a black-and-gray Trek model with skinny tires. He noted that he had paid $400.00 when he purchased it five years ago.
At 3:55 p.m. on Saturday, a victim reported that someone had stolen two hydraulic cylinders and a pintle hitch from the intersection of Millersburg and Newcastle roads in Gambier. He had left them alongside the road with a “For Sale” sign.
At 9:10 p.m. on Saturday, a Danville resident reported that someone on a four-wheeler had entered her driveway from Tiger Valley Road, turned around, and accelerated away at a high rate of speed. He threw gravel from the driveway and left visible ruts. The victim requested a report.
