MOUNT VERNON – Democratic gubernatorial candidate Ed FitzGerald will make a stop at the Knox County Fair Saturday, July 26. He’s scheduled to meet and greet fair goers from noon to 1 at the Knox County Democrats booth in the Merchants building. The public will get to meet FitzGerald and ask questions.
As the seventh of eight children, FitzGerald graduated from Ohio State University and the Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. After graduation, FitzGerald became a Special Agent with the FBI in Chicago’s Organized Crime Task Force.
After service with the FBI, FitzGerald returned to his roots outside Cleveland where he served as an assistant county prosecutor.
FitzGerald is running against incumbent Governor John Kasich this November.
