Kara Brasseur, 18, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 2:35 a.m. on Monday for illegal possession and consumption of alcohol.

Danny Middaugh, 36, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 2:35 p.m. on Monday for shoplifting at the Wal-Mart.

Damian Crites, 19, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 5:00 p.m. on Monday for theft at the library.

Brandy Ballengee, 23, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 6:15 p.m. on Monday for vandalism.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested for a curfew violation at 2:30 a.m. on Tuesday during a traffic stop.

Kenneth Sweet, 35, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday for trafficking in drugs.

Traffic Citations

Christopher Olk, 30, of Mount Vernon was arrested at 1:50 a.m. last Friday (7/4/14) for driving under the influence, for driving under a suspended license, for failing to use required child restraints, and for operating a vehicle under the influence within 20 years of a prior offense.

Leanda Cline, 34, of Mount Vernon was cited at 1:05 a.m. on Tuesday for speeding.

Mitchell Railing, 51, of Howard was cited at 3:05 p.m. on Tuesday for failing to yield the right of way when turning left.

Anna Morris, 31, of Mount Vernon was cited at 3:35 p.m. on Tuesday for driving under a suspended license and for failing to transfer his vehicle registration.

John Bolton, 31, of Mount Vernon was cited at 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday for littering from a motor vehicle and for riding a motorcycle without required safety glasses and helmet.

Denise Loper, 41, of Gambier was cited at 1:20 p.m. on Wednesday for speeding.

Terry Feldhake, 41, of Mansfield was cited at 1:20 p.m. on Thursday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.

Accidents

At 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, Judith F. Gump, 68, of Mount Vernon exited the CES Credit Union parking lot onto W. Chestnut Street and struck an unattended vehicle parked in a marked yellow-curb area.

Incidents

At 11:20 a.m. on Thursday, a victim reported that a window on his residence on the 1600-block of Venture Drive had been vandalized.  A suspect was identified.

At 4:50 p.m. on Thursday, a victim reported that a cell-phone and a set of car keys had been stolen from her residence on the 600-block of W. Chestnut Street.  

At 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, an employee of Certified Oil reported that someone had driven off without paying for $30.93 worth of gasoline.
