KCSO Reports 01-09-14–At around 8:15 a.m. on Tuesday, the Kenyon College Campus Safety Office reported that an electric floor stripper had been stolen from Rosse Hall on the Kenyon campus sometime over the previous weekend.
At around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, a deputy was dispatched to a residence on the 900-block of Winesap Drive in Howard in response to a complaint of vandalism to a vehicle. He spoke to the complainant whose mother’s vehicle had been damaged. According to the complainant, his mother had come home at around 7:00 p.m. on Monday and parked the undamaged vehicle in the driveway. Then, when he went outside to start the vehicle at about 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, he found damage to the hood and front left fender of the vehicle. The deputy observed two small dents and scratches on the hood and a hole in the fender near the headlight. The complainant noted that he did not know of anyone who would have done this nor did he see or hear anyone damage it.
