MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County Sheriff’s Office reports a Johnson Avenue couple’s home was forcibly entered on January 2 and several items were removed including jewelry, several cameras and an Android phone. The scene was processed.
Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Thursday on outstanding warrants. Melvin Richard Yeatman III, 20, of Columbus Road was arrested for failure to comply with probation. Shane Myers, 41, of Courtland Drive, Howard was arrested for failure to appear. Both Yeatman and Myers were taken to the Knox County jail without incident.
