Aaron Gantt, 23, of Gambier was charged at 10:15 a.m. on Saturday (12/21/13) with receiving stolen property and with theft.
Daniel E. Walton, 20, of Danville was charged at 4:00 p.m. on Monday (12/23/13) with petty theft from the Wal-Mart.
Amber M. Jacobs, 30, of Mount Vernon was charged just after 2:00 p.m. on Thursday (12/24/13) with theft from the Kroger.
Tara L. Travis, 27, of Newark was charged at 1:50 p.m. on Friday (12/27/13) with theft from the Wal-Mart. She was picked up also on a warrant issued by the Heath PD.
Brandi R. Coe, 40, of Mount Vernon was charged at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday (12/28/13) with disorderly conduct in an emergency facility.
Jeffrey Sherbahn, 57, of Mount Vernon was charged at around 8:15 p.m. on Sunday (12/29/13) with petty theft at the Kroger.
Bryan Pruitt, 23, of Mount Vernon was picked up at around 10:45 p.m. on Sunday (12/29/13) for an outstanding warrant issued by the Mansfield PD.
Jessie H. Schorr, 21, of Mount Vernon was charged at 10:30 a.m. on Monday (12/30/13) with disorderly conduct at an emergency facility and for resisting arrest.

Delbert R. Madzag, 66, of Centerburg was cited just after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday (12/26/13) for operating a vehicle with fictitious tags.
Jennifer L. Kolasky, 35, of Mount Vernon was cited at 2:50 a.m. on Friday (12/27/13) for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. She was cited also for refusing a BAC test.
Shawn Looney, 28, of Mount Vernon was cited just after 10:30 p.m. on Sunday (12/29/13) for failing to reinstate his driver’s license. He was cited also for an exhaust violation.
Elizabeth F. Morgan, 21, of Lakeville was cited at around 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday (12/31/13) for failing to yield the right-of-way at an intersection.

Marcus R. Clemens Jr., 21, of Mount Vernon was cited just before 3:30 a.m. on Wednesday (1/1/13) for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, driving a vehicle with expired registration tags, and for operating a vehicle with fictitious tags.
Candace Roush, 26, of Mount Vernon was cited at around 1:20 a.m. on Wednesday (1/1/13) for operating a vehicle while intoxicated and for driving without using required headlights.
Caitlin N. Keller, 21, of Mount Vernon was cited just after 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday (12/31/13) for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.
Frederick T. Flint, 75, of Killdevil Hills, NC was cited for making an illegal left-turn at an intersection.
John L. Parker, 59, of Warsaw was cited at 2:00 p.m. on Friday (12/27/13) for speeding (41 in a 25 mph zone).
Carole Senft, 71, of Mount Vernon was cited just after 6:00 p.m. on Friday (12/27/13) for driving left of the center-line.
Jeremy A. Blankenship, 30, of Mount Vernon was charged just before midnight on Tuesday (12/24/13) for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.
Accidents:
Just after 1:30 on Tuesday, Jill A. Kurpyl, 43, of Mount Vernonwas heading eastbound on Coshocton Avenue in her 2010 Infinity G37X but stopped for traffic at the Greer Street intersection. Sonja K. Debolt, 66, of Centerburg stopped immediately behind her in her 2010 Chevy Traverse. Caitlin Nicole Keller, 21, of Mount Vernon approached from the rear in her 1997 Chevy Cavalier, failed to stop, and rear-ended Debolt’svehicle. The impact knocked Debolt’s vehicle into Kurpyl’svehicle. Keller was cited for the incident.
Just before noon on Tuesday, Janice R. Kijack, 53, of Gambier was heading eastbound on Beech Street in her 2013 Chrysler 300 approaching the Vernonview Drive intersection. She stopped behind a line of vehicles which had stopped for the stop-sign. Jeremy A. Blankenship, 30, of Mount Vernon approached her from behind in his 2002 Pontiac Sunfire, failed to stop, and struck Kijack’s vehicle in the rear. Kijack’s vehicle had minor damage while Blankenship’s vehicle had front-end damage and had discharged its airbag.
At 3:50 p.m. on Wednesday (12/25/13), an unknown person was driving down W. Vine Street in a Dodge 100 pick-up. The unknown driver struck the driver’s side mirror of a 2002 Ford pick-up, belonging to Brenda Crowl of Mount Vernon, which was legally parked along the roadway. He continued westbound and failed to stop after the accident.
At 1:30 p.m. on Monday (12/13/13), Kayla P. Schaade, 25, of Mount Vernon backed her 2000 Mercury out of a parking-space in the Wal-Mart parking lot. At the same time, across the traffic lane, Tara B. Davis, 24, of Mount Vernon backed her 2008 Dodge Avenger out of a parking space. Davis reached the center aisle first and Schaade struck his vehicle in the rear driver’s side door.
Just after 6:00 p.m. on Thursday (12/26/13), Carole Ann Senft, 71, of Mount Vernon was traveling northbound in her 2000 Plymouth Neon on the 300-block of Vernonview Drive. Stephanie M. Blakely, 36, of Mount Vernon was traveling southbound in her 2002 Chrysler Sebring. Senft veered left of the center lane and struck Blakely. Blakely’s vehicle was towed from the scene and Senft was cited for the incident.
At 7:45 p.m. on Friday (12/27/13), a 2005 Ford Focus belonging to Robert D. McGuire of Fredericktown was parked in the Subway parking lot on Sandusky Street. An unknown driver struck it then fled the scene.
Incidents:
At 5:00 a.m. on Monday (12/30/13), a pair of Ohio license plates were found at the corner of Oak and S. Catherine streets. They appeared to have been on the street for some time, hidden by a parked vehicle.
At 5:00 p.m. on Sunday (12/29/13), a victim ordered an iPhone5s to be delivered to his door on the 1100-block of Coshocton Avenue. Records show that it was delivered but it appears to have been taken before the victim came home to pick it up.
At 10:30 a.m. on Monday (12/30/13), officers responded to a report of an out-of-control individual at Knox Community Hospital’s Intensive Care Unit. A suspect was identified and charged.
At 11:20 a.m. on Monday (12/30/13), a victim came to the MVPD station to report that she was being harassed via her telephone. A suspect was identified.
At 1:15 p.m. on Tuesday (12/31/13), a resident of the 800-block of W. Chestnut Street reported that her home had been vandalized.
At 4:25 p.m. on Tuesday (12/31/13), a citizen turned over a key ring (including 2 keys, a lighter, and a measuring tape) that he had found in front of Mouse Trap Tattoos.
Just before 3:00 a.m. on Wednesday (1/1/14), an officer responded to a disturbance at City Rhythm Bar on W. Ohio Avenue.
