WOOSTER — The Wooster post of the Ohio Highway Patrol says a Knox County man was killed in a one-vehicle accident on State route 514 at Township Road 202 in Holmes County last night. The patrol received a call at about 6:30 Wednesday morning about the accident. Troopers found the car belonging to Robert Nobile, 79, of Howard, on its top at the bottom of a 40-foot embankment. The investigation shows that Nobile came up on a 90 degree curve in the roadway, went left of center, struck two guardrails and a stop sign before going doing the embankment.
According to the Ohio Attorney General’s office, which handles all missing adult cases for those over age 65, Nobile left his King Road home at 10 p.m. last night to go to a Danville gas station and never returned. Nobile was repeortedly suffering from dementia.
