Jordan C. Hendrix, 21, of Mount Vernon was charged on October 5th with four counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Jacob R. McQueen, 28, of Mount Vernon was picked up just before 1:00 a.m. on Wednesday for an outstanding warrant.

 

Traffic Violations

Shasta Delayne Jones, 42, was cited at around 3:40 a.m. on Wednesday for driving under a suspended license.

Jessica M. Wardrap, 35, of Fredericktown was cited at around 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.

Caden J. Kieber, 21, of St. Louisville was cited at around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.

Brian E. Facemyer, 40, of Mount Vernon was cited at 11:05 p.m. on Wednesday for running a red-light.

Accidents

At around 7:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Sulu D. Kelly II, 55, of Marion was stopped, facing northbound at a yield-sign, at the intersection of Martinsburg and Newark roads.  Caden J. Kieber, 21, of Fredericktown approached from behind in a 1999 Jeep Cherokee, failed to stop, and struck Kelly’s 1992 Ford F-150 in the rear.  Kelly refused treatment for minor injuries and Kieberwas cited for the incident.

Incidents

At around 12:50 a.m. on Wednesday, an officer impounded a 2002 Mercury Sable parked near the intersection of S. Division and E. High streets after a third parking ticket had been issued to it.  Howard Street Garage towed the vehicle to their impound lot.

At 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, an employee of The Learning Center on W. Vine Street reported that he had been kicked by a student.  A juvenile suspect was identified.

At 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, a victim reported that several of his possessions had been stolen at Knox Community Hospital.  Among the missing items was a black pair of Nike Air running shoes and $85.00 in cash.  

At 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, a victim reported that several items—including an Xbox 360 valued at $460.00—had been stolen from her apartment on the 300-block of W. Curtis Street.
