MVPD reports 12/17/2013
Arrests: Clarissa A. Tomlin, 19, of Utica was charged just before 2:15 p.m. on Sunday with possession of drugparaphernalia at a drive-thru on High Street.
Traffic Violations: John T. Frye, 57, of Howard was cited at around 1:00 p.m. on Monday for failure to yield from a posted yield-sign.
Accidents: At around 1:00 p.m. on Monday, John T. Frye, 57, of Howard was heading westbound on Pine Street in his 2000 Volkswagen Jetta. William L. Bradley, 70, of Mount Vernon was southbound on Newark Road in his 2009 Ford F-150. As Frye crossed Newark Road, he failed to see Bradley approaching and struck his vehicle. Frye was cited for the incident.
Just after 4:40 p.m. on Monday, Paul S. McCullough, 51, of South Delaware was traveling southbound on S. Mulberry Street in his 2913 Toyota Sienna. Phil J. Samuell, 63, of Gambier was heading in the same direction in the adjacent lane in his Jeep Grand Cherokee. McCullough decided to make a left-turn from the right-lane and struck Samuell’s vehicle in the side. McCullough was cited for the incident.
Incidents: At 3:00 a.m. on Monday, a juvenile was reported missing.
At around 7:15 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a residential burglar alarm at a home on the 100-block of E. Hamtramck Street.
