Accidents
Just after 4:00 p.m. on Friday, Michele Herbert, 34, of Howardwas heading eastbound on Coshocton Avenue near VerndaleDrive in her2002 Chrysler Town and Country minivan. Patricia I. Hoadley, 62, of Howard was immediately behind her in a 2000 Volkswagen Beetle. When Herbert stopped for traffic,Hoadley failed to stop and rear-ended her vehicle. Hoadley was cited for the incident.

Just after 6:00 a.m. on Friday, officers responded to a domestic violence complaint at a residence on the 300-block of Locust Street. A suspect was identified.
Just after 10:00 a.m. on Friday, a silver Dodge Stratus with no license plates was towed from the Hiawatha Pool parking lot. An officer ran the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) and it was reported as belonging to a South Carolina resident. It was towed from the scene by Blubaugh’s Towing and placed in their impound lot.
At around 5:15 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a domestic violence complaint at a residence on the 100-block of N. Catherine Street. A suspect was identified.
At around 5:15 p.m. on Friday, a suspect was charged with shoplifting from the Wal-Mart. Recovered from the suspect was a tan coat, a pair of women’s underwear, and other items with a combined value of $87.80. Wal-Mart provided a DVD of the suspect allegedly taking the items.
At 4:10 p.m. on Friday, officers responded to a report of a disturbance at the Buffalo Wild Wings restaurant. A suspect was identified.
At 7:30 p.m. on Friday, a victim reported that his credit card number had been stolen and used fraudulently.
At around 11:40 a.m. on Saturday, an officer responded to a complaint at an apartment on the 200-block of Michelle Avenue. A victim reported that her vehicle had been used without her authorization. A suspect was identified. Recovered items included a black purse (containing a wallet, personal hygiene products, a make-up bag, papers, and two used hypodermic needles), a green book bag (containing a Call of Duty PS3 game), a blue book bag (containing a lot of baseball cards and two broken cell phones with their back panels missing), a gray shirt, two red shirts, a pair of gray Nike sweatpants, a bag of fireworks, a pair of distressed jeans, and a Motorola cell phone with a red cable attached.
A little after 4:45 p.m. on Saturday, Wal-Mart reported that a suspect had allegedly tried to shoplift several items. Recovered from the suspect were two pillowcases, a bag of Christmas bows, and a 2-DVD recording whose title was not included in the report. The combined value of the items was $30.77.
At about 11:50 p.m. on Saturday, a disturbance was reported at a residence on the 300-block of Locust Street. A suspect was identified.
