Richard A. Henderson, 32, of Mount Vernon was picked up at 5:15 p.m. on Monday for a parole violation.
Traffic Violations
Alisha Davis, 30, of Fredericktown was cited at 4:00 a.m. on Tuesday for failing to control her vehicle.
Accidents:
Just before 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Thomas M. Bower, 57, of Gambier was heading eastbound on Coshocton Avenue near Hilltop Drive. Linda N. Miller, 20, of Killbuck was immediately behind him in her 2005 Saturn Relay. Stephanie Tucker, 28, of Mount Vernon was behind her in her 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee. When Bower and Millerslowed for traffic, Tucker failed to do so. She rear-ended Miller’s vehicle which pushed it into Bower’s 1998 Plymouth Voyager. Tucker was cited for the incident.
Just after 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, Alisha A. Davis was in an unnamed alley on the 100-block of E. Burgess Street. She attempted to pull into a driveway, lost control of her 2004 Nissan Maxima, and struck a wooden fence on the adjacent property. She was cited for the incident.
Incidents:
Just after 5:30 a.m. on Tuesday, an officer responded to a business alarm at the Marathon as station on W. High Street. Upon arrival, he met an employee of the business who informed him that he had set off the alarm by mistake when entering the storage area. The alarm company was notified and the officer left the scene.
At 11:40 a.m. on Tuesday, officers were dispatched to the Bay Leaf Restaurant on a report of an unsecured door.
At 4:40 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to an alarm at the City of Mount Vernon’s garage. The building appeared to be in order and the City Engineer’s office was notified.
At around 10:40 p.m. on Tuesday, a victim reported ongoing harassment by an ex-boyfriend. A suspect was identified.
