Jason D. Wilson, 32, of Mount Vernon was charged just after 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday with criminal trespassing at an apartment on the 100-block of S. Gay Street.

Joshua Bishop, 25, of Warsaw was charged with several counts of petty theft at 1005 Coshocton Avenue.

 

Traffic Violations:

Warren J. Wolfe, 49, of Mount Vernon was cited at 12:45 p.m. on Monday for operating a vehicle with an expired registration.

Accidents:

At around 8:25 p.m. on Tuesday, Mark A. Woodruff, 19, of Newark was heading northbound on an unnamed roadway in his 1998 Honda Accord. He crossed into the southbound lane of travel, veered off the west side of the roadway, and struck a tree on property owned by the Knox Community Hospital. He was cited for the incident and his vehicle towed from the scene by the Howard Street Garage.

Incidents:

At 3:25 p.m. on Tuesday, an officer responded to a report of a theft from an apartment on the 200-block of W. Gambier Street. Among the missing items were an Xbox 360, 6-8 games, a controller, a Nintendo Game Cube, three controllers for the Game Cube, two Nintendo games, thirty Prozac tablets, and various other medications.

At 11:30 a.m. on Monday, a resident was cleaning an apartment on the 100-block of S. Sandusky Street when she found a Chase Visa card behind the stove. She turned it over to the MVPD the following day. They identified its owner but were unable to obtain valid contact information. The card was then placed into lost and found property at the MVPD.

At 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, a resident of the Terrace Apartments on Parkview Drive contacted MVPD regarding a suspect on the property in violation of a no-trespassing order. The suspect was identified and charged.
