Incidents:

Just before 2:00 a.m. on Monday, officers responded to an activated business alarm at the Gold Exchange on S. Main Street. They found the exterior of the building secure. A keyholder was contacted by phone but declined to come to the scene.

At 3:00 p.m. on Monday, a Trio Stealth tablet was damaged at a residence on the 600-block of W. Sugar Street. A suspect was identified.

At around 3:40 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a report of disorderly conduct at an apartment on Newark Road. A suspect was identified.

At 4:40 p.m. on Monday, an officer responded to a vandalism on the 100-block of W. Burgess Street. A suspect was identified.

Traffic Citations:

Linda S. McLin, 64, of Mount Vernon was cited at 11:20 a.m. on Sunday for failing to yield when entering the roadway from private property.

Brandon R. Reisinger, 18, of Mount Vernon was cited at around 11:30 p.m. on Monday for driving under a suspended license.

Accidents:

At around 12:20 p.m. on Monday, William E. Tanner III, 35, of Carrollton was heading westbound on W. Vine Street in a 2004 Dodge Caravan. He failed to stop for the red-light at the Sandusky Street intersection and collided with a 2004 Mazda Pro driven by Beverly Sue Rine, 65, of Mount Vernon. U1 admitted running the light.
