Mitchell A. Billman, 30, of Mount Vernon was picked up at around 10:15 p.m. on Monday at a Follin Street apartment on a warrant issued by Morrow County.
Kelsi L. Keener, 26, of Mount Vernon was charged just after 8:45 p.m. on Monday with receiving stolen property at the Wal-Mart.
Jordan Platt, 26, of Mount Vernon was charged just after 8:30 p.m. on Monday with petty theft from the Wal-Mart.
Traffic Citations
Ruby D. Cunningham, 70, of Mount Vernon was cited just after 1:00 p.m. on Monday for failing to assure a clear driving-distance ahead.
Carl T. Kuhel, 53, of Mount Vernon was cited at 8:40 p.m. on Friday for operating a vehicle while under the influence and for failing to control his vehicle.
Accidents
Just after 1:00 p.m. on Monday, Jacqueline C. Lester, 51, of Mount Vernon was heading eastbound on Coshocton Avenue in her 2007 Honda Civic. Ruby D. Cunningham, 70, of Mount Vernon was behind him in her 1996 Geo Tracker. Lester stopped for traffic as she approached the Hilltop Drive intersection but Cunningham failed to stop in time and struck Lester’s vehicle in the rear. Cunningham was cited for the incident.
Incidents
At 10:10 a.m. on Monday, an officer took a report of a men’s mountain bike found at the First Merit Bank on S. Main Street. The bicycle was taken into custody.
Just after 10:30 a.m. on Monday, an employee of the Duke & Duchess Shoppe reported that someone drove off without paying for $30.00 worth of gasoline.
At around 11:30 a.m. on Monday, a Mount Vernon Middle School student reported having been threatened.
At around 8:00 p.m. on Monday, a resident of the 300-block of Locust Street reported an altercation with her live-in boyfriend.
