MOUNT VERNON — Monday, Malcolm J. Hunter, 24, Mount Vernon, entered a guilty plea to a charge of failing to provide change of address notification to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office. According to Knox County Prosecutor John Thatcher, Hunter failed to notify the Sheriff that he changed his address, on or about August 9. Hunter must register as a sex offender due to a conviction for unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, in 2011. Deputy Daniel Selby investigated the case.
William N. Strouse, 45, Mount Vernon, pleaded guilty to two counts of aggravated trafficking in drugs for selling methamphetamine to a confidential informant working for the Mount Vernon Police Department, on January 16 and 18, 2012. Detective Craig Feeney investigated the case.
Both men will be sentenced on December 13, after the Court conducts a pre-sentence investigation.
