HOWARD — Even though they are too young to vote, students from the East Knox school district spent part of their Sunday campaigning for the EKS levy on the ballot this Tuesday. Voters will decide an additional 1% income tax and an additional tax of 2.9 mills for “necessary requirements.”

The students were driven around Apple Valley on a trailer decorated in East Knox colors. Other local schools on the ballot Tuesday include Mount Vernon and Loudonville-Perrysville.
