MOUNT VERNON – Ten hours of nostalgic chills and thrills will be featured during the second annual “Halloween Classic Scary Movie Marathon” beginning at 2:00 p.m. until midnight on Saturday, October 26, at the Public Library of Mount Vernon and Knox County, 201 N. Mulberry Street.
The marathon will feature the following classic horror movies with start times:
2:00 p.m. “Them!” (PG)
4:00 p.m. Dracula w/Bela Lugosi (PG)
6:00 p.m. Night of the Comet (PG-13)
8:00 p.m. Young Frankenstein (PG-13)
10:00 p.m. The Raven (R)
Participants can come for one or all shows. Halloween costumes welcome with door prizes awarded.
Children under 13 must have parent or guardian present. Movie rating age requirements will be followed. After library closes at 5:00 p.m., the only door open will be the west entrance on the side of the parking lot.
