MOUNT VERNON – The Knox County Prosecutor’s office reports Tyler B. Smith of Mount Vernon pleaded guilty this morning to to possessing child pornography on a computer last October. Detective Tom Bumpus, KCSO, investigated the Smith case assisted by Investigators from the Franklin County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force. Corporal Kyle Theibert, Mount Vernon Police Department, investigated the Price case.
Also this morning, Jo-Ro L. Sharp, 29, Mount Vernon, entered a guilty plea to burglarizing a residence on April 30. Detective David Light and Sergeant Timothy Light, Knox County Sheriff’s Office, investigated the case.
Ashli N. Price, 26, Mount Vernon, plead guilty to trafficking in heroin, on February 18.
