KCSO Reports

At 9:20 p.m. on Sunday, a suspect was arrested on an active warrant issued by the Juvenile Division of the Knox County Court of Common Pleas.  Brandon L. Good, 21, of Mount Vernon was taken into custody at his residence, handcuffed, and transported to the Knox County Jail without incident.

At around 9:00 p.m. on Sunday, a deputy spoke to a victim whose car had been vandalized while parked overnight on S. Clayton Street in Centerburg.  There was a scratch—apparently the result of a “keying”—that stretched from the back quarter-panel to the front door.  The victim stated that he has no idea who might have damaged the car.

Just before 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, a victim reported that the boat docked behind his house on the 600-block of King Beach Drive was missing two of its 10” floor-speakers.  The victim had not been on the boat since early September so doesn’t know when they went missing.  The mounting-screws had been removed and were lying on the floor of the boat but nothing else appeared to be disturbed or missing.

Just before 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, a victim reported that a van was stolen from his driveway on New Delaware Road in Mount Vernon.  He heard the van spin gravel in the driveway as it pulled away but was unable to see who was driving.  A partial key was broken off in the ignition at the time of the theft.

At 2:45 p.m. on Sunday a victim reported that her four-wheeler was missing from her barn on Shipley Road in Fredericktown.  She was uncertain exactly when it was taken but had contacted everyone she knows who might have borrowed it.
