Care Net is celebrating  24 years of being a community leader in reaching out in practical ways to meet the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of young women and men experiencing unplanned pregnancies and related issues. Care Net is a Christ-centered, life-affirming not for profit organization and functions entirely through the donations of churches, businesses and individuals who share its concerns.

In 2012 the center served 390 clients in 2,452 scheduled visits. Care Net provides all of their caring, confidential services, including pregnancy tests, limited ob ultrasound and Earn While You Learn Parenting Classes, at no cost to the women and men served.

“The funds raised through the Walk will ensure that women and men facing an unplanned pregnancy will have the support they need at a critical time in their lives,” said Carter.
