MOUNT VERNON – Detectives and deputies from the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, along with assistance from the Danville Police Department have arrested Allen L Wears, age 33, of Danville, Ohio on charges of importuning, and disseminating matter harmful to juveniles.
Wears had been communicating via email and text messages with what he thought was an underage female. The female was actually a Knox County Sheriff’s Office Deputy. Wears was arrested when he arrived at a location in Danville for the pre-arranged meeting. The case remains under investigation.
