Nicholas E. Wallace, 35, of Mount Vernon was cited at around 10:30 p.m. on Wednesday for persistent disorderly conduct at Honey Bucket’s.  He was cited also for resisting arrest.

Gerald Crump, 32, of Columbus was picked up just before 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday for an outstanding warrant.  He was charged also for possession of drugs.

Colleen A. McPeek, 47, of Mount Vernon was charged last Wednesday (9/18/13) with petty theft from the Wal-Mart.

Cara Santangelo, 18, of Mount Vernon was cited just after 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday for leaving the scene of the accident.

David McCullen, 63, of Westerville was cited at around 12:30 p.m. on Tuesday for running a red-light.

 

Accidents:

At around 11:40 a.m. on Wednesday, Jessie R. Watts, 58, of Fredericktown was heading westbound on Coshocton Avenue in his 2006 Jeep Wrangler.  Vickie S. Hall, 51, of Mount Vernon, who was immediately behind him in her 2012 Cadillac SRX, also stopped.  Stanley Bruce Williams, 53, of Mount Vernon, who was immediately behind Hall in a 2008 Ford F-550, failed to stop, struck Hall’s vehicle, and pushed it into Watts’s vehicle.  Williams was cited for the incident.

At around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Arthur E. Snyder, 77, of Fredericktown was heading westbound on Coshocton Avenue in his 1995 Buick Park Avenue when he slowed to turn into the Tim Horton’s parking lot.  Patricia Joy Wonders, 58, of Mount Vernon, who was immediately behind him in a 2003 Buick Century, failed to stop and struck his vehicle in the rear.  Wonders was cited for the incident.

Incidents:

At 9:40 a.m. on Wednesday, a catch-basin grate was reported missing at the intersection of McGibney and Sychar roads.  A suspect was identified.

At around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, a disturbance was reported at the Dan Emmett Elementary School.  A suspect was identified.

At 5:20 p.m. on Wednesday, a victim reported that she was being harassed by calls and text messages to her personal cell phone.  A suspect was identified.

At around 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, a resident of the 700-block of N. Sandusky Street reported that his missing motorcycle and helmet had been returned.

Just before 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, officers responded to a domestic violence incident at a resident on the 700-block of W. Sugar Street.  A suspect was identified.

 

Traffic Violations:

 

Stanley B. Williams, 53, of Mount Vernon was cited at around 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday for failing to assure a clear driving distance ahead.

 

Joy Y. Wonders, 58, of Mount Vernon was cited at around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday for failing to assure a clear driving distance ahead.
