MOUNT VERNON — After 20 years of owning the building at 133 S. Main St., Jim Peterson said it is time to sell. “I’m 65 years old and it’s time to cut back,” he said. “I live in Ashland and it’s too much hassle.”
Contrary to rumor, the Y Not Cycling business located on the first floor of the building is not being sold. “The business is doing fine and is staying,” said Peterson, adding that the building has other good tenants in addition to Y Not Cycling.
“The building is an old building but it’s in great shape,” he said. “It has had extensive work done on the floors and ceiling, and new windows, air conditioning and heating.”
