MOUNT VERNON-GLOW 4 GOAL – 5K Run / Walk to benefit the American Cancer Society is scheduled for Friday, October 4th during First Friday in downtown Mount Vernon. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. with the race beginning at 7:00 p.m. This event is a 5K Run and Walk htat benefits the local Relay for Life of Knox County effort.
This is the first time for this type of unique event in Mount Vernon. GLOW 4 GOAL is different because the race takes place at night and participants light up the court with neon t-shirts.
