While the owner and several other victims were out on a boat on Saturday, an unknown person or persons entered his residence and stole money from two wallets and two purses. The basement screen door was closed, but not locked, and may have been the point of entry. The victims did not realize the money was missing until the following day.
Several nearby houses in the area offered places where a suspect could have observed the victims leaving the residence but the complainant noted that he did not believe any of them to be involved.
